WHERE TO STAY:

  • Stay in the heart of Rome at Hotel de Russie, Hotel JK Place Rome or Palazzo Dama.
  • Outside of Rome, near the seaside, you will also find the incredible and charming La Posta Vecchia Hotel a sister boutique of the renowned Pellicano Hotel and was the formal house of Jean Paul Getty.

WHERE TO EAT:

  • Enjoy lunch at my favourite restaurant Pierluigi. Its unique position permits the privilege of dining outdoors amidst a historic setting.
  • Dal Bolognese, recommended for lunch, if it is a beautiful day be sure to ask for a seat on the terrace.
  • Al Moro, this is an institution in Rome with the best Italian food you can taste in the city; I always make sure to book in advance for dinner.
  • Get an ice cream at Ciampini, my favourite gelateria in town

WHERE TO DRINK:

  • At the terrace of Hotel De Russie or the terrace of Palazzo Dama, you can go, after dinner, for some cocktails and fun.

WHAT TO VISIT AND WHAT TO DO:

  • The best kept secret in Rome is to walk around until you get lost in the beauty of it.
  • Step inside Palazzo Colonna, one of Slim Aaron’s most magical scenarios.
  • Discover Galleria Doria Pamphilj and its largest private art collection. Velazquez’s portrait of Pope Innocent X is considered the collection’s masterpiece.
  • Villa Medici; if you enjoy gardens you must absolutely visit the Giardino all’Italiana of the Palazzo Medici which is home to an incredible view of Rome.
  • Visit Galleria Borghese: it houses Bernini’s marble sculptures and Caravaggio’s painting.
  • Vatican Museums are a must-see if you are in Rome for the quantity of art treasures you can discover there.
  • The Trevi Fountain late at night will take your breath away. I have the best memories coming back from a wedding at sunrise walking by the fountain…

WHERE TO SHOP:

  • Lasciati ispirare da Chez Dede, una boutique molto speciale a Roma.
  • Be inspired by Chez Dede, a very special boutique in Rome.
  • At Rinascente Tritone you will find our Aquazzura corner.
  • If you are a vintage and antiques lover, you cannot leave Rome before you take a stroll down Via dei Coronari or Via del Governo Vecchio.
  • In Via dei Banchi Vecchi 141 you can find colourful ceramics hand crafted from Italian artists
